Saint Paul 2008

The Xcel Energy Center is but one third of Saint Paul’s Rivercentre complex. (Yes, it’s spelled the French way; get over it.) In addition to the X arena and the convention and meeting spaces, the complex also contains the Roy Wilkins Auditorium, a smaller arena space often used for trade shows and concerts.

Both the figure skating championships and the RNC convention will probably have their own guidebooks with maps; in the meantime, if you’re curious what the floorplan looks like here’s the street-level map, courtesy of Rivercentre:
